Lucius A. Barbour account book, 1849-1883.

Account book kept first by Lucius A. Barbour and later by his son, Lucius Albert Barbour. Both men were from Hartford, Connecticut. The volume begins with the elder Barbour's land accounts in several Indiana counties. There are also lists of notes and accounts owned by Barbour, bills receivable, and stocks and bonds. Additionally, Barbour noted the property of his wife, Harriet S. Barbour. When the book passed to the younger Barbour, he used it to list stocks he held. These included American Linen in Fall River, Mass., American Screw in Providence, RI, and Willimantic (CT) Linen.
